THOMPSON, Gillian (Jill) – passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday 6^th September 2019 aged 79 years.  Only daughter of the late Eric and Louise.  Partner to David. A special niece to the late Nora.  A former physicist in the shipyard, a well known athlete, member of the Barrow Striders and a regular at the Park Run.  Please meet for a service at 12noon at The Trevelyan Chapel, Dalkeith Street, Barrow on Wednesday 25^th September.  Donations in Jill’s memory for Huntington’s Disease may be left at the service or sent c/o Little & Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow.
