Little & Caine provide a completely personal service from the moment you contact us, for as long as you need our assistance. This may take weeks or even months after the funeral. We will not put you under any undue pressure, it is important for you to grieve in your own way. We will provide emotional support for you and your family as you learn to cope with your bereavement. For many people it’s important to reflect on the personality and character of the deceased within the arrangements and this will usually require time and thought.
We offer compassionate funeral services for both religious and non-religious ceremonies, that are designed to aid the healing process, before, during and after the day itself. To us, the most important thing is that your wishes and those of the deceased are carried out with as much sensitivity as possible.
Hearse & Limousines
These are an essential part of our service to you. Any necessary limousines, each seating 6 or 7 people, will be supplied depending on your needs.
Bearers
If required bearers can be family, Little and Caine staff or a mixture of both.
Chapel of Rest
We have Chapels of Rest at each of our branches, providing you with a place to pay your last respects. We will always endeavour to provide you with lasting memories of a loved one at peace. Appointments can be arranged through our helpful and sensitive staff during office opening hours, which are Monday – Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.
Floral Tributes
The serene beauty of flowers is a fitting way to express your love for the deceased, as well as bringing comfort to mourners. There are many different arrangements available, which we would be happy to discuss with you. After the funeral, flowers can be taken to a destination of your choice for others to appreciate.
Stationery
Service sheets and other memorial stationery, including remembrance books and appreciation cards can be arranged, which we would be happy to discuss with you.
Donations to Charity
If you would prefer a donation to charity instead of flowers, we will accept and list donations on your behalf and forward them to your chosen charity.
Music
We are able to source any music your family may decide suitable for your service.
Catering
A memorial reception allows mourners to share memories of the deceased in less formal surroundings. We can arrange a buffet at the venue of your choice.
Listing of Names
We can take names at the church or crematorium on your request, providing you with a lasting record of the attendees for you to reflect on.
Cremated Remains
At this distressing time, it can be difficult to look ahead but it is important to realise the emotional benefit of having somewhere to return the deceased following a cremation. The feeling that a loved one is ‘there’, can be a great source of comfort in the weeks, months and years to come.
Probate
Probate is the process of dealing with the estate of the deceased. We will offer you as much support as possible with probate.
