STAINTON, Michael Eli – passed away peacefully on Thursday 9th May at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband & soulmate of Rita for 66 years, an adored dad of Helen & Nicky, a loving father-in-law of Colin & Julie, and a precious grandad to Megan, Dominic & Laura.  Friends & family please meet for a service at St. Mary’s RC Church, Victoria Road, Ulverston on Tuesday 21st May at 12 noon with the burial at Pennington church yard.  The family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful care Mike received over the last 8 weeks to all the staff on Ward 7 at Furness General Hospital.  Family flowers only please, any donations in Mike’s memory to Ward 7 at Furness General Hospital (cheques payable to Bay Hospital Charity) may be left at the service or sent c/o Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton in Furness.
