Aged 87 years, former greengrocer of Anchor Road.  Passed away peacefully on 13^th September at St. Cuthbert’s Nursing Home.  A loving wife and soulmate of the late Alf.  A dear mother to Lynne, Kay and Jane.  A much loved sister to Dorothy, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, Nana and Auntie.  Joan will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.  Please meet for a service of committal/celebration of Joan’s life at St. John’s Church, Barrow Island on Friday 27^th September at 1.30PM.  Family flowers only. Donations if so desired, to be shared between Alzheimer’s Research UK and St. John’s Church Window Fund, can be left at the service or sent c/o Little and Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith St., Barrow.
