BRIGGS, David ARPS Photographer and Retired Publications Manager at the Shipyard, late of Penny Bridge, died peacefully on Tuesday 16^th April aged 79 years at St Luke’s Nursing Home, Abbey Meadow, Barrow.  Beloved husband of Jill, dearly loved father of Sarah and Jenny, also loving father in law of Paul and Duane, a proud and loving grandfather to Alice and Isaac, a respected loving brother to Phyllida, Lucy and the late Rosemary.  Due to current restrictions a private burial at St Mary’s Penny Bridge will take place.  All enquiries to Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton.
