Benson:  Ronald Dodson (Dobbie): aged 87 years of Parkview Gardens Care Home, formerly Harris Street, Askam.  Passed away suddenly on the 25^th July 2019. Loving husband and best friend of the late Jessie Benson. A much loved dad of Carl, Karen and the late David, father-in-law of Lorraine and Mark, grandad, great-grandad, uncle and friend too many, who will be very sadly missed by us all.  Friends please meet for a service at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Friday 9^th August, at 11.30.  Family flowers only please, donations, if so desired, to be shared between The Alzheimer’s Society and MacMillan Cancer Support, may be left at the service or sent c/o Little and Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton, Tel. 462564.
