SIMPSON, Dr June Margaret – passed away peacefully in the excellent care of Risedale on Abbey Road on Thursday 16^th January 2020 aged 84 years.  Dear daughter of the late Margaret and William Simpson of Kendal, Cumbria.  A unique lady who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.  Please meet for a service on Monday 3^rd February at 11.00am at St Peter’s Church, Lindal- in-Furness.  A committal will follow at Lancaster Crematorium at 2.30pm.  Donations may be left after the service and will be shared between church funds and St Mary’s Hospice.  All enquiries to Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton-in-Furness. WILLIAMS, Ann Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully at home in Pennington on Friday 17^th January, aged 62, with her husband David and sons Sam and Joshua by her side. A beautiful woman on the inside and out, who was loved deeply and has inspired so many people with her strength and courage. The funeral service will take place at Ulverston Methodist Church on Thursday 30^th January at 11.30, followed by the committal at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow in Furness and a memorial wake at the Olde Mill, Bardsea.
